Our beautiful local region (Port Douglas) hosts the most productive black marlin grounds in the world producing the biggest strike rate of 1000lb fish.
Shaka was purpose designed to fish the 150-mile length of the Great Barrier Reef grounds like no other, with the speed to get to the bite and the seaworthiness to fish comfortably in the frequent rough conditions outside the reef.

Shaka offers whole boat charters only and recommends a live-aboard fishing charter between 3 and 10 days duration. This will give you the very best opportunity to land a giant.
Our trips are fully catered with soft drink and water provided. Alcohol is BYO.
All tackle is supplied and ample cold storage options for your catch.
Snorkelling and adventure cruising to outer reef and exotic locations can also be included in our charters.
